We get a mention in the Mr Kyps newsletter...
On Monday 17th May, live music venue Mr Kyps at Parr Street in Poole mentioned us in their email newsletter...
"Finally on Sunday we come to Jim-Bob the enigmatic frontman of Carter USM. Along with guitarist Fruitbat, Carter USM had 14 top 40 singles and a number one album, sold over a million records and toured the world. With Carter, Jim Bob would become known for his socially aware pop lyrics and in particular his use of puns.
This show will see Jim-Bob on tour promoting his new book Storage Stories, a dark comedy asking the eternal question ‘Where do pop stars go to die’. As well as recounting tales from the Carter days he will be playing a set of songs spanning his career, from Sheriff Fatman to The Only Living Boy In New Cross and beyond. Jim-Bob recently held a really interesting interview with our good friend Geoff Dorset at Express FM."
